Some of what I want to say today is written here. I hope you find it uplifting.

Why is there hate in the world, what motivates someone to harm another human being. What motivates a person to show Hatred towards their fellow man, I guess it’s a differance of opinion. Is it? I mean let’s make it simple, what has it got to do with me what, or who someone decides to worship. What has it got to do with me if someone decides to live in a certain way.? How does it affect me? It’s doesn’t does it? What matters is what we do for others, how we are with other people. Isn’t it better to concentrate on us and make sure we are doing things that we believe in as opposed to worrying about what others are doing. Isn’t life about example. About making the first move ourselves as opposed to wanting life to change, and others to change.

The emotion of hate often comes alongside religiosity or a nascent spirituality. In these contexts we see ourselves as different and needing to correct or convert the world. What we are really saying to ourselves is, “I’m a minority and I’ve got to fight to keep this special status.”
As you’ve pointed out, it isn’t really like this. There is little that divides us as souls. All we have to do is pull back the veil and it all becomes apparent. At our most human soul level we’re all made of the same stuff. When we find what this is, there are no longer divisions among us.

Good job. Since you have been on both sides of the fence you understand – the hate ends when you come to gripes with your inner self and make the choice to be a compassionate person instead of a me, self serving person.

Unfortunately in this crazy mixed up world we live in there is a bunch of seriously demented people who hate peace and thrive on violence. There are lots of people starting to make changes and there is strength in numbers. We need to respond with peace and love and not with revenge and evil.

The Ying and yang effect is one whole. I agree with you totally. Love is the strongest of all forces, soft like water it can pierce through solid rock. Sometimes unkind people are hurting inside and suffering within very much themselves and are secretly longing to feel loved. They mirror out into the world their anger, bitterness and frustration. Only my opinion I never profess to know for sure.. Just a theory. Life is impermanent to confess to know everything … 😊 💐

I agree on all count, but I must say I was that horrible person once. As you say all I wanted was to be loved, I got hostile receptions and never had a home till recently. So I know what it’s like on both sides of the fence. I have always wanted to be a giving person, but had to learn to love me first. You can clearly see from my posts now. That bridge was crossed a while ago. 😊
