Dawn Marie is a Godly lady and is someone who always has something positive to say. She is not a person you will find drawn into negative conflicts about anyone, she sees everyone as souls. As a consequence she has nothing but kindness to give to all people. I totally respect her and am happy to call her my friend.

Pain is a driving force.

16 Tuesday Feb 2016

blogging, faith, gain, giving, happiness, hope, love, pain, success

I heard this said by Ron Dennis in an interview with Martin Brundel. The once dominant F1 racing team, now paired with Honda, they have struggled and the two famous racing drivers, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Botton are struggling with them! Although totally committed. Using the pain of losing as a tool to carry on, could this be something we could use In a cancer fight? That was what my thoughts led to, did I actually use my pain as a driving force to beat cancer. Well for sure I did and it’s a way many more could use to beat it to, that the pain is a way of encouragement and not discouragement.
It is what I have done the whole way though cancer, used pain as a way of overcoming the pain; caused by the cancer treatment. But how would I communicate that with you, how would I explain that.

Well it’s like this, for me I have wanted my journey to be documented, so that none of what I have faced in cancer has been wasted. So because I was in effect explaining how I felt, what I was experiencing in the hope it would help someone somewhere. It meant I had the pain for a reason. That pain had become useful a vehicle even, to benefit others through the very pain I was experiencing. Effectively because of what I have been feeling it has a positive effect on you the reader.

Because it is now seen, that the treatment that of course I had an option to have or not have. Has cured me of the cancer that caused me to have this treatment, whilst the nerve damage is painful and even a permanent lead weight weighing me down. It’s almost worth it, because I am still here to share it with you. So what was the choice, die or live with pain. That’s it really, to just know that the journey we are given is for a reason. I don’t know what your situation is in your life, or what you have faced and will face. What I do know is though, is that I have chosen to use my seemingly negative journey to bring hope to others that fight. It was never certain that I would make it, it was never guaranteed that my treatment would work. But I am certain that my attitude to it was part of winning the battle, and it’s my job to tell you that by saying the word can and believing you will not fail certainly gives you the best chance  of success.

Don’t think I have not had days that I wanted to give up, to throw in the towel so to speak. I DID.  You don’t have to either, you can. Speak life to yourself. It’s a choice how to use what you are experiencing. Let me know what you think? What ever you think, what you go through today can help the people of tomorrow. If you let it.

If it was not for cancer, I would not have even explored blogging. Don’t you think that’s sad, how I had to get chronically ill before I felt I had something to offer the world.  I do, I mean we are all people with something to offer the world. As my dear friend Rob says “Everything is connected to everything” I have decided, well I did a long time ago. I just did not know how to make it happen. To mention bloggers every week, a kind of blogger of the week post. Only there may be just one or more than one. I am not really into these awards, but I am into recognising people that have been good people. People that blog to help others, and write to benefit others lives, not advertising bloggers, or product bloggers. I am interested in people that want other people to do well.

  www.chanelweb.co.uk
I have talked in previous blogs about, not giving a hand out rather a leg up. There are the two types of people. The ones that want a free gift, or hand out. Then there are the go getters, the ones that are already doing for other people but need a leg up, or a helping hand. Not because they don’t want to do, but because they are doing and because they are, the road became a bit more tricky. I love selfless people, because I was selfish once. I was someone that had a chip on my shoulder and thought the world owed me. Is it not us that owes the world… Why was I like that, who did I think I was! Well that does not matter really, because what’s important is what we are. NOT what we were. We choose who we are today, where as we chose what we were. The most wonderful thing about today is, that we can be a better us today than we were yesterday.

I seem to be getting a lot of people reading my blogs in Canada at the moment, I wonder if that’s because you guys are all snowed in. I imaging log cabins, lakes, snow, Indian style canoes and massive pine trees when I think of Canada. Thank you all for reading. Wouldn’t it be good if all bloggers had a flag of the country they are in next to their name?

I hope you all have a great day, and thank you one and all for reading my blog, have an enjoyable day. Remember today is the day to make the change, start believing in you. Start stepping out in faith, every journey starts with one step. You can’t start a journey unless you put one foot forward. Today is that day.

Enjoy it,

Fonz

I really want to go to this, anyone in the northwest of England going?
The Bloggers Bash Committee said this year would be bigger and better – and trust me, it will be. We, the committee, have plans afoot to make it a cracking day. If you don’t know what the bash is, it’s an annual get together for bloggers everywhere. The bash is open to everyone, whether you blog […]

blog, bloggers, blogging, encouragement, enrich, help, like, share, together

Hear me out, I am after all new to this. I have an idea it has no rules, but this is how it works.

  • Pick someone that’s liked a post on your blog, preferably someone you have not followed and they don’t follow you.
  • Then find a blog you like and like it, and comment if you like.
  • Repeat 3-5 times.
  • Lastly share this idea
  • That’s it but do it every day that’s possible.

Your blog will grow with people that have similar interests, and maybe some that are not. One thing is for sure though, your life will be enriched because you are encouraging someone.

I hope you let me know how it goes for you.

Good luck,

Fonz
