Along the same ilk as my most recent blog ‘forgiveness’
fonzandcancer blogging to encourage.
Its your attitude they say. Well as a twenty something I did not understand what that meant, I even found the statement inconsiderate in some cases. I mean you can’t tell a cancer patient to change their attitude, can you? Well actually it’s very important, especially someone fighting cancer. Let me explain from my own exsperience. What your attitude is to something, does that not depict how someone responds to you? I think if someone has a bad attitude to something, people around you tend to respond negatively. Have a happy heart and people will look on the bright side. What do you think?
No one likes to be around people that constantly moan, or talk about their problems all the time, people that seem to have the weight of the world of their shoulders. Don’t they choose to have that, don’t they choose to have that amount of luggage…

A positive attitude makes you and everyone around you happy. It is hard to maintain an uplifting attitude when you are ill, but you can if you try. I have had many negative people try to drag me down into their hole of dispair, but I refuse to follow. I usually try to do my, “oh woe is me thing,” totally in private. Then when that is over I can face the world with a better frame of mind. lol

Hey Liz, how are you today? There is no right or wrong way to deal with stuff. Although sharing with people that understand helps, and staying positive helps.. 😊

I am doing fine Mark. There definitely is no way to deal with right or wrong things. I try very hard to always be positive — for my family, friends, bloggers, and myself. Have 2 friends at church with cancer – am not sure how the journey will end for either, but I try hard to encourage them and tell them never to give up. I pray for them daily as I still do for you and Michael. Keep strong and stay in remission Mark.

This is so very true. I recently ended a friendship with someone because she was so negative all the time, I felt so sad whenever I was with her. Being with her was not good for me.
